What I discovered fairly quickly at these sessions is that the caliber of an event depends almost entirely on the quality of its speakers. If the speaker is a hit, then we usually have a successful event. WIthout quality speakers that will engage, entertain and inform your audience – your event is DEAD in the WATER. Make no mistake, you cannot polish poor speaking with fancily designed handouts. You can have all the wonderful marketing collateral you want, but if your speakers lack substance, the next even you hold you’ll be passing those materials out to the custodians at the venue. I can almost guarantee that.
