What Do You Want?

Every moment of every day that we are “plugged in” to the culture, we are pelted with this question. Buying, selling, walking or eating, it bombards us. Odd, then, that we can go through days and weeks of running our businesses without answering it for ourselves or our clients.

What do you really want? More importantly for your business, what do your clients want? How are you going about discovering that?

This can be a scary question. Are you in the wrong business? Selling the wrong product to the wrong people? Despite the fear, ask it. It will lead you down a path to exactly where you need to be. Most importantly, once you learn to speak the language of what you really want, you can begin to speak it to your clients. This can open vast new lands of opportunities that you never thought to lift your head and even see.

HERE ARE A FEW WAYS TO ASK:

  • How many repeat clients do you have?
  • What do you sell them?
  • What systems do you have in place to draw out of your clients?
  • What they would like to see from your business?
  • Do you have a system for converting one-purchase clients to repeat clients?
  • What is the number one need or pain you solve for your clients?

This is just the beginning. The question “What do you want?” could deliver, for you or your clients, a whole new life.
